The parking aid module does this by calculating the distance to an object by the use of four parking aid sensors mounted in the rear bumper. The sensors can detect objects approximately 1m to the rear of the vehicle. An intermittent warning tone is generated from the speaker in the parking aid speaker, located on the central junction box (CJB).

About a month ago I got an alert saying my backup sensors weren’t working, now every time I back up my dash says park assist fault. Forscan says all 4 sensors are faulting or shorting, I checked every connection under the bed and in the bumper, they were all clean and dry, i dielectric greased them, and put ‘em back.

My parking aid system has a fault. Fault short to ground on both front and rear circuits. Been to a few auto electricians but have been advised to try changing the parking aid module as this connects both front and back sensor's. What I wanted to know is, does the 2nd hand
I have checked the wiring harness and all connections, Parking switch, and Reverse Sensors. I have done everything except check the Parking Assist Module. My maintainance DVD tells me that it is located behind the glove box. . 229 142 36 149 91 269 295 365
